Research and Academic Background

In addition to clinical work, I’ve conducted research at UCSF and Stanford on emotion regulation and burnout in healthcare providers. My dissertation focused on Compassion Cultivation Training as a preventive and therapeutic approach to burnout in medical students, a topic that continues to inform my clinical lens.

My academic journey began at Brown University, where I studied Mandarin and East Asian history, a background that shaped my strong sense of cultural humility and curiosity. These values inform my approach to therapy, as I work with individuals from diverse cultural, personal, and professional backgrounds.

Whether we’re working with long-standing patterns or current challenges, I aim to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported in making meaningful change.
